Türkiye Money Transfers

You can make your transfer quickly, safely and easily by applying to our nearest branch in the following ways.

⦁    Cash Transfers

If you want to make your transfer in cash, please apply to our nearest branch in person with the originals of the following documents. 

- Your passport + Residence Permit (Aufenthaltstitel) card or ID (TC ID is not valid for this transaction, EU-Personalausweis is required)

- Document showing the source of the amount you brought in cash (Kontoauszug or Auszahlungsbeleg that is not older than two weeks and clearly shows your name/surname and IBAN number)

Important Note: Transfers on behalf of third parties are not accepted.

⦁    From your account in our bank
⦁    From your POS/Other bank account

The amount of the transfer you will send with this application is collected from your Girocard enabled bank card (formerly known as EC-Card). The transfer amount is deducted from your bank account to which your card is linked, as in shopping.

In addition to providing a fast and convenient transaction opportunity, the application also eliminates the need to carry cash.

Important Note: If you are constantly making transfers to Türkiye, we recommend that you open an account in our branch.

If the Recipient IBAN specified in the transfers sent to the account belongs to an account in another currency rather than EUR, the transfer amount is not automatically recorded in the account in order to prevent possible exchange rate risks. In this case, the Recipient must apply to the branch in Turkey in person and approve the conversion of the amount to another amount, which causes delays. In order for your transfers to be recorded quickly in the Recipient account, it is important to double-check whether it is a EUR account before sending.

In addition, if the Recipient information specified in the transfer does not match the Recipient's account name and account number 100%, the transfers are returned. In order to prevent the loss of time and money during this return period, it is important to double-check that the Recipient's information is stated as written on their ID and that their TR ID No is also stated before sending.

You can make your transfer to TC Ziraat Bakası A.Ş branches through the bank where your current account is located (Hausbank). Fill out the form you will give to your bank according to the example below.

Send your transfer to our bank's IBAN number DE12 5122 0700 1000 6040 07.

1)Write the amount of the transfer in this field.

2) Since a transfer can be sent to either the recipient's account or name, the required information also varies:

a) For transfers to the beneficiary's account:

In this field, enter the beneficiary's name and surname, the beneficiary's account number (IBAN) (26 digits, starting with TR) and, if applicable, the beneficiary's TR ID No. (11 digits, consisting of numbers).
 
b) For transfers in the name of the beneficiary:

3) In this field, write the beneficiary's name and surname, the T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. Branch to which the transfer amount will be sent, the recipient's TR ID No (11 digits, consisting of numbers) and the recipient's telephone number, if any.

The name and surname of the person sending the transfer will be written in this field.

4) The account number of the person sending the transfer at their own bank will be written in this field.
In transfers of amounts of € 1,000 and above to Turkey, the address of the transfer officer must also be legally included. However, this information is often not included in the transfer received from your bank.

For this reason, after writing the recipient information in the description field of your transfer, please also write your own address. If there is not enough space in this field, in your first transfer from your bank (one-time), please send an e-mail to havale@ziraatbank.de and provide your address and phone number. In order for the transactions to be carried out quickly, please do not forget to state the transfer amount and your own IBAN in your e-mail.

Please use capital letters when filling out the entire transfer form. Turkish-specific characters should not be used.
For example: Instead of ŞENGÜL PERÇİN, write › SENGUL PERCIN

Your transfers are transferred from the bank where your account is located to our bank within 1-2 business days. If the elements of the transfers that reach us are complete, they are forwarded to Turkey within 2 business days. If the elements are missing, your transfer is returned to your account.

If your account at our bank is open to online use, you can make your transfer to Türkiye Ziraat Bank A.Ş. advantageously.

You can easily send your transfer over the internet whenever and wherever you want, with attractive costs starting from €5.
